TITHING PRINCIPAL

 

Before I start explaining my Tithing principal let’s start with, what is a Tithe?  Scripture says a tithe is 10% of your income given specifically to your local church. Anything over 10% is considered an offering.  According to Leviticus 27:30, “A tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain or fruit, is the Lord’s, and is holy.” And Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.” Firstfruits is just a biblical way of saying that you should give first—before you do anything else with your money!

 

The Bible tells us that tithing is a way to show that we trust God with our lives and our finances. God Blesses us so we can Bless others.  When God knows he can trust us to Bless others with what he has provided, he will give us more so we can give more.  Tithing is meant for our benefit because sacrificing a portion of our money helps us look outside our selfishness and makes us more aware of the needs of others.  In fact, one of the main purposes of tithing is to support the needs of pastors and the work of the local church. Tithes help pay the pastor’s salary, keep the church’s lights on, and meet the needs of the churches members and community.

 

As New Testament believers, we are NOT obligated to give, rather God wants us to give from a Good heart.  God has blessed us so we can be a blessing to others.  I believe there is a Blessing in giving with a good heart!

 

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 “This I say, He which Soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  Every man according as he purposed in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver”.

 

At Financially Fit Coaching, I believe it is important to Tithe and put our Trust in God.  In fact, my goal is for all my clients to be givers.  I believe there is a BLESSING placed upon us when we give with the right Heart motives.  Unfortunately, many of my clients are in positions where they don’t feel they have any money to give.  I want to change that.  I want to help you be good stewards and spend wisely.  To eliminate Debt and Save with purpose.  I want you to BUILD WEALTH and GIVE like you never gave before.

My Tithing Principal.  How it works.  When you chose to enter into any of my paid programs, we will tithe together. The first 20% of ALL fees associated with ALL of my Financial coaching programs will be given to your local church or ministry.  10% will be given in your name and 10% given in my name (A total of 20%).  This will allow us to SOW together into God’s blessings to give your Finances a Fresh start!  Let’s be good Stewards by GIVING and REAPING in God's Blessings together!
